Paris, France

This summer, I went back to Paris for the first time since I was in high school. It was a totally different experience going as an adult and returning to a foreign country that I actually remembered quite well. As soon as we got off the plane, we navigated our way to our flat that was only half a mile from the Louvre and located in a neighborhood with amazing restaurants and people. I had to use my high school French here more than I anticipated, but everyone understood me for the most part. It did take me a couple tries to finally get "bottle of water" right...

We covered a lot of ground in the 3 days that we were there including Notre Dame, the Musee d'Orsay, the Louvre, the Musee de l'Orangerie, and Disneyland! It's hard to pick a favorite, but I have to say that our dinner at Frenchie was a meal I will never forget. We navigated a couple blocks in the rain and found this amazing wine bar in a little ally. We had wine at the bar while we waited for our table and then we were treated to amazing ragu, fish, and dessert.

All photos were shot on an Olympus EM 10.
